This Firewire IEEE 1394 cable is manufactured by Phillips, The cable is made from High purity copper with Copper braided reinforced aluminium Shielding, It also has 24 karat Gold plated contacts for optimised signal transfer.

Firewire Cables are used for high speed Digital Connections from Digital Camcorder/ Cameras to PC (IEEE 1394 port). They have faster signal transmission than USB making them ideal for downloading your digital camcorder video footage without dropping frames. They can be used to connect Digital Cameras/Camcorders to DVD Recorders or other multi-media devices.
